| Harmony Islands Marine
Provincial Park, BC, Canada is located in between the
top and lower portion of the Sunshine Coast positioned off the
east side of Hotham Island, north of Granville Bay. The park covers
over 31 hectares and is a very popular destination during the
peak summer months for boating, swimming, snorkeling, kayaking
and fishing.
Just a mile south of the Harmony Islands Marine Provincial
Park are the cascading 1,400-foot Freil Lake Falls, which
feed into Hothman Sound from Freil Lake.
The Harmony Islands Marine Provincial Park is
a bare bones playground with no facilities onsite just amazing
marine scenery. A note to remember is that there are many other
islands in the area that are privately owned and are not a part
of the park. They are not for public use therefore do not trespass
on their private property. The islands are primarily a day use
destination as there are no overnight camping facilities in the
park.
