Douglas Fir, Grand Fir, Red Alder, Western Red Cedar and Broadleaf
Maple.
Or to explore the remnants of the areas local history positioned
along the trail including forestry and First Nations artifacts.
The crushed clam shells marking the entrance of the trail has
been left behind by the 2,000 year old history of the Sliammon
First Nation people.

beach walking opportunities. It is a good idea to check out the
tides as there are two areas that are very difficult to pass at
high tides.
