Two BC Ferry routes deliver you to Powell River, British Columbia, Canada.
- From the city of Vancouver, BC: It is 145 kilometres drive north from the southern most entry point of the Sunshine Coast. A 6 hour drive, give or take to the community of Powell River. From the city of Vancouver you must board a BC Ferry in Horseshoe Bay to Langdale on the southern most tip of the Sunshine Coast - closest to the community of Gibsons. From Gibsons, travel Highway 101 past Sechelt, BC into Earl's Cove BC Ferry Terminal. Another short BC Ferry ride takes you to Saltery Bay and the beginning of the top portion of the Sunshine Coast. Continue travelling Travel Hwy 101 from Saltery Bay to Powell River.
- From Comox Valley on Vancouver Island: On central Vancouver Island is the Comox Valley and the Little River BC Ferry Terminal transporting vehicles, cyclists and walk-ons over to Powell River located on the top portion of the Sunshine Coast.
